Also, I have the matte paste in bay rum; only the oil has some really noticeable scent, the cream and paste have a hint of it but really not a lot. Currently if I am attending any formal events I use Gentleman Republic Refined Gel to hold the sides in place and then whatever paste or wax of week I'm using on the top and here and there I add in a little hairspray if I don't want to mess with my style.
